At home, his mother Kamala comforted him and promised to give him money for the bells. Later, while shopping in the market, the fruit seller mistakenly gave Chinna extra money. At first Chinna wanted to keep it and buy bells and chocolates.

Kamala explained that keeping someone else's money is wrong. Chinna understood his mistake and returned the extra money. The fruit seller praised him for being honest. Kamala then bought the tinkling bells. Chinna happily tied them around Tara's neck.

🔔 Let Us Do – Make Your Own Bell Craft

Materials Required

  • Metal bottle caps or small tin cans
  • String
  • Cardboard
  • Small pebbles, beans or beads
  • Aluminium foil
  • Markers / crayons / paint
  • Glue or tape
  • Safety scissors

Steps

Step 1: Put small pebbles or beads inside the cap.
Step 2: Seal the bottle cap using glue or tape.
Step 3: Make a hole and pass a string through it.
Step 4: Tie a knot to secure the bell.
Step 5: Wrap aluminium foil around the bell.
Step 6: Decorate with colours and designs.
Step 7: Cut a cardboard tag.
Step 8: Write your name or draw on the tag.
Step 9: Attach the tag to the string.
Step 10: Adjust the string length.
Step 11: Shake the bell and enjoy the tinkling sound.
