📖 What is an Adverb of Manner?

📌 Adverb of Manner = tells us HOW an action is done.

Example:
🐰 The rabbit ate the carrot.
❓ Can we tell HOW the rabbit ate?
The rabbit ate the carrot quickly.
⬆ quickly tells us HOW the rabbit ate.
➡️ quickly = adverb of manner

🦌 From your book:
The stag warmly greeted his friends.
❓ How did the stag greet?
warmly → tells us HOW he greeted.
➡️ warmly = adverb of manner

“The old stag recovered slowly.” → slowly = HOW? ✅

Whenever a word tells us HOW an action happens, it is an Adverb of Manner.

📌 Adverbs can tell us different things!

Not every adverb tells us HOW. Some tell us WHEN, WHERE, or HOW OFTEN.
