FLN Aim

The main aim of FLN is to ensure that every child achieves Foundational Literacy and Numeracy by Grade 3. Students should be able to read with understanding, express ideas clearly, and solve basic mathematical problems.

FLN Learning Targets

  • Students read 30–40 words per minute.
  • Students understand short paragraphs.
